NFL Network analyst Jamie Dukes joined Booger and Rich to discuss the Bucs draft moves.
Dukes said the Bucs QB situation is ok, but they have to determine who will be the QB of the future. As far as Josh McCown goes, Dukes said they are giving him the same blueprint from last year with the Bears with tall receivers.
Dukes said he’s not sure if Glennon is the QB of the future, but Lovie Smith is trying to win right now and that’s why McCown is the starter.
Despite holes in their team, Dukes said the Bucs are still in good shape. They had to make the moves they made in the draft and free agency.
Dukes said that several people had Mike Evans rated higher than Sammy Watkins, but Dukes said the gameplan is going to be to run the ball so the receivers won’t be relied on as heavily.
