Rihanna‘s prayers must have worked. While Chris Brown‘s failed drug test threatened to ruin the singer’s probation, the judge gave him a break.
After pleading guilty to beating pop star and former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, for which he was placed under probation, Brown showed up to court on Monday (September 24) for randomly testing positive for marijuana. He took the drug test back in June.
As usual, Brown’s hardcore fans took to Twitter to voice their support. But he also received a very public vote of support from an unexpectord source, ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1Love

According to TMZ Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told the controversial performer that because she never ordered Brown to take part in mandatory drug testing as part of his probation, for now she would not revoke his status.
However, while Brown was able to issue a medicinal marijuana prescription from California, the judge said that the case would still go before further review.

“You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what you want to do,” Schnegg told Brown. “You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation.”
The case will now be relocated to California where Brown currently resides. The Grammy winning act is under order to meet with his probation officer within 72 hours to discuss issues with his current community-service schedule.
